well...somewhat, I guess I used to "blog" if that's what it was called, but I never updated, so we'll see how this goes. All this to say, I'm trying it again.
My little sister graduated from college this past weekend from UNT which is really cool...sister and I are both UNT Alums now!!!! As I write this, I'm watching the women's Olympic gymnastics team and am remembering how sister, mom and I used to watch gymnastics all the time. Its so cool to see them make flipping and flying gracefully through the air seem effortless. Our favorite was the 96 women's Olympic team. I looked up to those girls and now I look at this new group of girls 12 years later and am blown away with how young they look. So between sister graduating and watching the Olympics, I'm wondering when this all happened? When did we grow up? Did I miss out on it? I mean, I remember it almost like it was yesterday...sitting up late (I mean it was summer so going to bed at a decent hour was not a priority, much less a thought when I was 14,) but now, 12 years later I'm forcing myself to stay up so I can watch my favorite Olympic sport. I'm not old...nor do I feel it, but man, when did I grow up?!?!?
